研究方向为能源材料的理论与设计以及半导体缺陷的基础研究。已在SCI学术期刊上发表学术论文50多篇(H-index= 17),包括PRL, Adv. Mater.以及Adv.Energy Mate.等,被引用1000多次。研究成果被Nature Physics、 Physics Today、 APS网站头条、 Materialsview、 Materialsview China等长篇报道或选为研究亮点。因其在薄膜太阳能电池拓扑缺陷方面所做的工作,两次在美国材料学会春季会议上作邀请报告。因其在钙钛矿太阳能电池方面的工作,受邀在欧洲原子模拟中心会议上作邀请报告。具体研究方向包括:
